Weekly Highlights at the Roastery! Week of July 8th

Last week, you might've seen that we did not post a weekly highlights blog. Our team took a well-deserved break to celebrate the 4th of July with our friends and family. It’s hard to believe we’ve been open for just two months because our team has been non-stop! Seeing our passionate team members relax, smile, and deck themselves out in red, white, and blue was a true joy. After that mini vacation, they jumped right back into the Roastery with an exciting event!

Inspiring Young Professionals We kicked off the week with an inspiring event for young professionals, featuring our co-founder and president, Ben Higgins, alongside three other incredible community leaders. The turnout was phenomenal! After the event, Ben shared his thoughts: "It is incredible to see so many leaders in one room. We got to learn from wise, trusted leaders, connect with each other, and hopefully leave inspired about the future." This event perfectly captured our vision for the Roastery's community space. We're excited to welcome more inspiring individuals to share their experiences with us, the community, and the world.

Our First Cupping Session Later in the week, we were thrilled to host our very first cupping session at the Roastery. We welcomed a group interested in using Generous Coffee for their new coffee shop, set to open later this year. It was a fantastic opportunity to dive into all things coffee with them! We are extremely proud that our coffee is not only life-changing but also of exceptional quality. Through cupping sessions, you can truly experience the high-quality roasts we offer, tasting the expertly roasted beans and appreciating the distinct flavor profiles of each roast. Connecting Over Coffee All Week Long All week long, we welcome groups connecting over coffee, individuals searching for a place to recharge, and strangers who turn into friends. Our roastery staff doesn't just sit back and observe—they join in! In the picture below, you can see our wonderful shop girl, Erica, participating in a craft workshop held at the Roastery this week. It's a joy for our team to not only witness the community coming together but also to take an active part in it. Seeing our space become a hub of creativity and connection is what makes our work so fulfilling.
