Team Spotlight: Sara (Wells) Pegg – Behind the Scenes with a Heart for Impact

I’ve always been drawn to giving back to those in need. In a world so focused on consumption, I felt a strong desire to find a way to help people across the globe who lack access to basic necessities. At the same time, I wanted to do this without being away from home for too long. As a homebody with a passion for making the world a better place, I thought it would be impossible to find a career that met all of my desires—until I found Generous!
What makes Generous so unique is that it's a for-profit business with a mission to support nonprofits. I’m incredibly fortunate in my role here because I get to speak with inspiring individuals running remarkable organizations. Hearing the stories of how our partnerships are making an impact and changing lives is what fuels my passion, even for the admin tasks that most people shy away from. Whether it’s working with spreadsheets, organizing documents, or handling customer service, I know these tasks are crucial to Generous' success. I care deeply about the operational side of Generous because I understand the importance of the funds we donate and how many lives they touch. If I can do my part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, it helps the rest of the team work more effectively. Together, we can grow Generous and help even more people every day!
